What, you may ask, is so great about watching?
The answer is union with God.
How can this be? How can something so simple as watching lead to union with God?
God
is nothing if He is not consciousness. When you silently gaze, you become as He is–still and purely
conscious. Watching is the practice of pure consciousness.
Watch till you are as still and conscious as He, till you see the One
who sees you. Become Light as He is Light, become a child of
Light.
But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
